But I LOVE it when books combine hilarity with stuff that makes you cry. I tend to avoid really serious books just...I agree. I tend to avoid really serious books just for that reason. The world is so depressing. I like to laugh more than anything, which is probably why I don't write sad or "issue" books either. I like to get lost in a fun story.
