*insert big goofy smile*
It's one thing to write a book people like, and it's another to feel like you made an impression on someone. Even if it is just her forever, I will take it. That is exactly what I hoped for SIDEKICK, and here I've already hit that goal, published or not.
Today is a good day.
Yay! Great to hear, especially after your lack of confidence a couple of days ago. I love your blog, it's very inspiring (and I covet your shiny apple-red shoes, but that's beside the point).
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats! What a wonderful feeling! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYAY! That's about as good as it gets, isn't it :-D
ReplyDeleteCongrats.
Congrats! That is an awesome feeling. My best friend's mom read my book when he was beta reading for me, and at first I was horribly embarrassed because there are all kinds of sexytimes in it, but she told me she was blown away and couldn't stop thinking about it, and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy :)
ReplyDeleteyay! love love love that feeling. I had one of my beta readers also tell me that a few days later she was still thinking about my story. it is truly one of the best feelings i've experienced so far in my writing journey (other than actually writing and completing entire manuscripts!).
ReplyDeleteThis. This is why we write.
ReplyDeleteSweet! I can't wait for things to settle down so I can dig into Sidekick myself. :)
ReplyDeleteI cried at the end and I'm still thinking about it enough that I want to read it again. I loved it that much! :))
ReplyDeleteA really good day! Yay you! I like it when people tell me that too. :)
ReplyDeleteCool! That's the kind of comment to tuck away and remember often.
ReplyDeleteKathi
That is awesome. I love when that happens!
ReplyDeleteYay! That's awesome. I'm so happy for you, Natalie! And very envious of those who get to read Sidekick early. :) Hope one day I can do that with my writing, too!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
